Video: Azealia Banks - 1991

Another Video from Azealia Banks. I like this one also, but i do wish she would actaully do a more Hip Hop influenced record crazy rather than all pop all the time. Azealia to me is sick lyrically, and i know she's trying to stay in the Pop lane, but i hope she doesn't stray to far away from Hip Hop. She is representing New York, the birth place of Hip Hop so personally i would like to see her intertwine the genre's a little better than she already has done. If she continue's down this route of makeing more pop influenced records rather than mixxing Hip Hop and pop in her own way (Creating a new genre) i'm afraid she may begin to bore her audience. What do you think?

Digging Deeper Into DOX Pt. 2

I tried to do something a little different with this one. Didn't want the same ole beat, same ole flow, or the same ole concept. I didn't like this track at first, but after keeping it in the catalog for a few and running across it every now and then, I realized that it has its own sound that I can appreciate. I hope you can appreciate as well. P.S. this track will not be on any projects I release.

DOX & Jump Start (Black History Event @ Hamilton Fish Park Library )

I choose to celebrate the end of Black History Month teaming up with Jump Start to talk about Black History month with inner city youth at the Hamilton Fish Park Library on Houston st. We did diffrent activities like color pictures of notable African Americans who made major Civil Right contributions; like Harriet Tubman, Martin Luther King, Malcom X, Barack Obama, etc. I also had the oppurtunity to read to the kids about the founder of Black History Month "Dr. Carter G. Woodson". The Kids where extremely aware of all the people we spoke about which made me want to commend the tearchers in our schools for doing a such a good job at keeping our youth informed. This event will be my first of many ways of putting in time to help inspire, and inform inner city youth that they can make there dreams a reality with positive thinking similar to the people we spoke about during the Event.
